DESCRIPTION

Epaset - Detoxicates the Liver
epaset syrup. A Food Supplement useful for promoting depuration and hepatic function and for bridging the gap in levels of Vitamins and Antioxidant Substances capable of countering the deleterious effects of free radicals.


CHARACTERISTICS
D-Glucuronolactone: is a powerful hepatic detoxifying agent; it plays a part in the Glucuronidation process that promotes the elimination of toxins and contrast the buildup of drugs.

Choline and Inositol: prevent the buildup of fats in the liver and counter the formation of biliary stones.

Betaine: prevents the buildup of fats. It is a powerful methylating agent with a detoxifying action: it counters the formation of Homocysteine, a toxin that damages the cardiovascular system, and is formed by the degeneration of Metionine.

Schizandra: the main constituents of this are Lignans, Schizandrines and Gomisine, it exerts a hepatoprotective function, and also stimulates levels of hepatic Glutathione. It promotes hepatic function and counters alcohol induced damage.

Picrorhiza: promotes the depuration of polluting agents and drugs and promotes the increase of endogenous SOD enzyme. It improves Liver function detected by the hepatic markers: Transaminase, Alkaline phosphatase and Bilirubin.

Magnesium: necessary for hepatic cell function.

Selenium and Zinc: are essential minerals with Antioxidant characteristics, they play a role in the biosynthesis of important enzymes such as Glutathione Peroxidase and
Superoxide Dismutase.
