Cast steel grit
Cast steel angular grit produced by crushing specially heat treated steel shot Its behaviour in service depends on hardness - a characteristic readily modified by suitable heat treatment.
GP Steel Grit is used mainly in wheel blast machines for cleaning or preparation work on special surfaces
In addition, GL and GH Steel Grit are equally suitable for use in wheelblast machines and in most cases air blast equipment.
Steel Grit Application
1.Steel grit Blasting Cleaning
Steel shot and grit are used in cleaning applications for removal of loose material on metal surfaces. This type of cleaning is common in automotive industry (motor blocks, cylinder heads, etc.).
2.Steel grit Stone cutting
Steel grit is used in cutting hard stones, such as granite. The grit is used in large multi-blade frames which cut the blocks of granite into thin slices.
