Chrome oxide green is also called chromium oxide,molecular weight is 151.99,in hexagonal system,light green or dark green powder.Bulk density is 5.21g/cm 3,melting point is 2265 CC,boiling point is 3654 CC.Chrome oxide green is insoluble in water,acid or organic solvent,but can be slightly soluble in concentrated sodium hydroxide solution,soluble in hot sodium bromate solution,hot concentrated perchloric acid solution or boiling sulphur&phosphorus mixed acid.
Application:
Using in unshaped refractory materials, ca stable materials, ramming materials, etc, also can be used as abrasive materials and tools raw materials, mainly for non-ferrous smelting industry, the petrochemical industry, glass industry, steel industry and a variety of high-temperature furnace.
