Melting Point and solubility: mp 142-150℃，Freely sol in acohol and chloroform. Sol in water and one gram dissolves in 22ml water. Very slightly soluble in ether and one gram dissolves in 220ml ether.Practically insol in petr ether.
Brief: light yellow power.
Pharmacology: Anti-cencer, therapy gouty arthritis at acute episode period. Colchicine had prophylactic effects on carbon tetrachloride-nduced hepatic fibrosis.
