I. Overview
Plug-in magnetic float level transmitter is mainly divided into two categories. Category one, level transmitter converts liquid level
into corresponding resistance output signal, as the floating ball with magnetic ring steel rises or fall following liquid level to make
reed switch inside body tube close . Matched with intelligent digital display meter, the output resistance signal can accomplish
telemeter, alarm and automatic control function. The other kind based on the former one, converts resistance output signal
(processed with special module, as electronic amplifiers) into 4-20mA current signal of two-wired system. It can match directly
with DDZ-III electromotive instrument to accomplish telemeter, alarm and control, as well as intelligent digital display instrument
produced by ourselves. Plug-in magnetic float level transmitter is used in chemical, electric power, paper-making, shipbuilding,
environmental protection, food and other industries, which measures the liquid level of medium in pressurebearing container
(opening). It is more simple, reliable, and most ideal to measure the liquid level in the underground tank, pond, and high-level
water tank. Plug-in level transmitter is made of stainless steel, which is corrosion-resistant, suitable for flammable and explosive
places.
II. Working Principle
Plug-in magnetic float level transmitter is equipped with a set of reed pipe and precision resistors in primary duct. When the
floating ball with ring magnetic steel changes with the level because of buoyance, accordingly, the reed pipes under the level
in the primary duct close(connect) one by one with the action of magnetic field. It makes the change of circuit resistance value
and which is converted to current output by a specialized module.
