Penetrant testing products-spray cans. They are made for making visible defects that the bare eye cannot see.

You apply the penetrant on an item which will cover it. Let some minutes pass and you apply the solvent to remove the penetrant. However, if there is a defect the penetrant will not be removed. Finally, using a revelator you will be able to see where the defect is.
