*is a proprietary, cast, fused alumina zirconia abrasive produced by St. Gobain Grains & Powders. It is a dense, exceedingly tough abrasive with very fine crystal size, due to the quick cooling it receives in Norton’s unique casting process. ZS Alundum consists of 25% zirconia. It has a very blocky shape with rounded, mulled edges.
