descrAfter extensive tasting and pondering, the tasting panel has come up with these tasting notes for us. The comments are by no means definitive but rather suggestive:
Appearance:
Full gold, bright and shot with pink
Aroma:
Pungent and complex; sweet overall, but dries out. Noticeable slight peat smoke and even iodine. Very light sulphur, toffee and faintly fishy. Sherry, wax paper and candle wax; varnish, pine, resin.
Flavor and Taste:
Full bodied. The primary taste is sweet and salty, with a little peat-smoke 'catch' in the finish, which is relatively short. Other flavors are of resin and burnt butter. Development: Becomes sulphury when exposed to the air for a while. The flavor immediately gives away the whisky's provenancestockq_min26000
