garnet sand blasting
Product Description
We have more than 10 years experience of garnet sand production and sale. Our garnet is
rock type garnet mined from natural garnet rocks 200 meters underground.
It goes through crushing, magnetic separation, washing and drying production procedures.
Being crushed from natural garnet rocks, our garnet sand has high hardness and sharper
edges. With many times magnetic separations to remove impurities,it keeps high qualified
red grains. Then several times washing removes the powder away. After screening of sifting
bed, each size has the uniform particle distribution.
Our garnet sand 80# has high speed and fluency in water jet cutting and will not jam the
cutting tool bit used on water jet cutting machine.
Our garnet sand 20-40#, 30-60# are uniform particles used for sandblasting in Oil and
Petroleum industry maintenance;refineries, oil well, shipbuilding, repair yard, shipyard,
bridges, rail tanks, new buildings and denim, etc.
Our garnet sand 20-40# is one of the most cost effective alternatives for water filtration
beds because it resets the filter bed more rapidly if the filter bed is back-flushed.
According to the times of magnetic separation and washing, there are grade A and grade
B garnet sand. Grade A has more than 98% red particles. It is cleaner and higher efficient in
cutting and sand blasting compared with grade B .

Grade application
Blasting garnet is available in a range of tightly screened abrasive blasting products to suit
every application and site requirement.
12/40 Mesh:
One of the most preferred products for multi-media-water-filtration systems. It can also be used for
specialized application where excessive surface profiling is required or very high built coating systems
are to be removed.
Surface Profile: 100-150 microns.
20/40 Mesh:
It is an abrasive that can be utilized for heavy-duty coating removal. It's recyclability and a nominal production
rate makes it one of the most preferred repair-grade
