Photoinitiator 784 is an extremely reactive, orange colored solid photoinitiator for radical olymerisation of unsaturated resins upon exposure to visible light (daylight) or UV light. It has a wide absorption in UV spectrum with the typical absorptions at 390 & 460 nm and the absorption extends to 500 nm. It is especially suited for the curing of photopolymers for imaging or information storage applications. It may be used in UV curable formulations for clear and for pigmented coatings on wood, metal, plastic, paper and optical fibers as well as for printing inks.
