Aluminum-Nickel-Cobalt magnets are used extensively in aerospace applications, automotive, consumer goods, and medical devices. Sintered Alnico magnets has marginally lower magnetic properties, but better mechanical properties, than cast Alnico. Both are hard and brittle materials. They require skillful machining that is best performed on specialized equipment.
Alnico (Aluminum-Nickel-Cobalt) Magnet is high-energy permanent magnet, which posses high flux density, high coercive, high energy product and extreme stability for temperature changes. It exhibits good resistance to demagnetization, stability in high temperatures and excellent conduction.
