Product Description
Description: Casing head is a parts of wellhead equipment connected to casing top on the surface casing, which is used to support and fix the casing in well and intalle BOP assembly and other parts for wellhead equipment in offshore drilling or marine drilling.
Functions
- support partial or weight of casing on each layer except for the surface casing with hanger.
- Connect BOP and other components;
3.Isolate the annular space between inside casing and outside casing.
4.Provide outlet to release the pressure probably accumulated between the two casing strings.
5.In case of emergency, fluid. such as kill fluid and fire extinguishing agent, can be pumped into well form the side hole of casing head. - Special operation: A: if cementing quality is low, cement can be injected from side hole; B when acid fracturing is conducted, pressure balanced liquid can be injected from side hole.
