Cocoa processing process
Cocoa beans are roasted and cooled to remove excess water; they are dehulled using a peeler and then ground in a cocoa grinder to produce cocoa liquor; the crushed cocoa liquor is refined by a hydraulic press; refined cocoa liquor Cocoa butter is separated by an oil separator to obtain cocoa cakes; cocoa cakes are placed in grinding equipment to be ground into cocoa powder.
