PRESENTATION AND PRODUCTION OF WINE
The rosé wine DOMAINE DE PONTFRACT AOP Côtes de Provence comes from an estate located a few kilometers from Brignoles. Property of the same family for more than three centuries, this vineyard of about 20 hectares is implanted in a calcareous soil and stony flooded with sun. The grape variety, for rosé wines, consists of Grenache, Cinsault and Carignan. Resulting from a bleeding and a modern vinification with permanent temperature control, the DOMAINE DE PONTFRACT rosé wine is elaborated according to specifications established by the company "Vins Bréban", which has the exclusivity of the distribution of the wines of the field. DOMAINE DE PONTFRACT is part of the AOP Côtes de Provence rosé wines. Extending over approximately 20,000 hectares, the entire area of the Côtes de Provence appellation is influenced by the Provençal Mediterranean climate. The wines produced in the region are predominantly rosé, made mainly from Grenache, Cinsault, Carignan and Syrah. It is from the northern part of the appellation, fresh terroirs where the grapes ripen slowly, that come the most delicious AOP Côtes de Provence rosés, like the DOMAINE DE PONTFRACT rosé wine.
