The Non-rotating stabilizer (rubber sleeve stabilizer ) is a special tool in drilling to avoid blade wear and wall damage produced by our corporation is mainly used in cased hole for stabilizing drill string to prevent tool joints from striking and wearing casings, and to prolong the working limit of tool joints. During drilling, stabilizer transfer torque by depending on mandrel body, but rubber sleeve is sliding coordination which can be moved relatively, as a result, the sleeve plays a role of supporting of holewall. The sleeve is made of special elastic material and fixed by a latch clutch to prevent from rotating. When installed in the drill string, the protruding part of drill pipe can’t touch the casing’s inwall,so that reducing the chance of colliding, wearing, and deforming as well as prolonged the piecing of drill pipe’s life. It is accpeted by many users of oil fields and widely used in oil fields.
Construction
The Non-rotating Stabilizer consists of body, spare cap, centralizer sleeve and screw. Since the max outer diameter of the tool closes to the inner diameter of the casing, it plays a role in stabilization of drill string.
