Yohimbe acts directly on the blood supply to the genital tissues and stimulates the sympathetic system responsible for nerve impulses: it is a real aphrodisiac that improves sexual function.
A clinical trial concluded that yohimbine is effective in the treatment of erectile dysfunction and evaluated its rare and reversible side effects.

Another study showed that combined with arginine, yohimbine also increased vaginal impulses and improved sexual arousal in postmenopausal women.

Fat burner, slimming action
The α2 (alpha 2) receptors allow the lipid reserves of adipocytes (adipose tissue cells) located mainly on the abdomen, thighs and buttocks. Yohimbine increases our natural production of catecholamines, which inhibit the storage action of these receptors.
In addition, catecholamines, as endogenous ligands of β receptors, stimulate in particular beta 3, the main players in lipolytic degradation (burning of fat).
As a complement to a low calorie diet, Yohimbe increases fat oxidation and promotes weight loss.
