Electron beam radiationsystem for tire(EBR System) is mainly used to irradiate carcass ply(PCR) or inner liner(TBR) to strengthen the material’s mechanical and physical properties, suppressing deformation of semi-finished parts ,ensuring the parts of finished tire are not permeated each other, thereby improving tire’s dynamic balance and uniformity.
Technical Principle: DG type electron accelerator is made based on the principle of air-core transformer coupling DC high-voltage accelerator. Rubber matrix is transformed to be nitroxyl stable radical after high energy electron activated by accelerator, then free radicals recombine in an unstable state, a cross-linking reaction occurs from the initial chain molecular structure, finally forming a three-dimensional network structure, giving a certain strength for the raw rubber.
