Teas Pu'Er are produced from tea leaves very large, from the province of Yunnan. Oxidation is similar to that of an Oolong tea but is not as long as that of a black tea. They are characterized by their taste and their strong scent, evoking the wetland. The liquor is dark brown to Brown.
The section is either left in bulk, compressed in the form of slabs, bricks, or nests, allowing it to retain some moisture and slowly continue its fermentation. Teas Pu'Er can be stored in the open air, allowing oxygen to refine tea. Historically, the compression of the Teas allowed easier transportation. The steamed leaves were pressed wet and left to dry.
