PRESENTATION AND ELABORATION OF WINE
CHÂTEAU PEYROL rosé wine is certified in Côtes appellation
of Provence. It comes from the estate located at the entrance to the village of
Collobrieres, on the foothills of the Moors hills. This
magnificent vineyard of 12 hectares is implanted in a terroir
primary shale and sandy-loam alluvium.
The name Peyrol is a Provencal patois name that used to designate a large
crushing container of grapes. It recalls the time when the
treading on the feet preceded the pressure of the grapes.
