PRESENTATION AND PRODUCTION OF WINE
The rosé wine DOMAINE LA COLOMBE AOP Coteaux Varois in Provence is a blend of traditional grape varieties of the region, Grenache and Syrah, complemented by Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine comes from the estate located in the town of Saint-Maximin-la-Sainte-Baume, which covers 30 hectares. The altitude of the vineyard is between 360 and 420 meters. The soil is clay-limestone in the valleys and cultivated parts and consists of bauxite, sand and marble for the parts located in the extension of the Sainte Victoire. The DOMAINE LA COLOMBE rosé is one of the Coteaux Varois AOP wines in Provence, the latest of the Provencal appellations. It is a dynamic region, which brings together 28 municipalities of the Var around Brignoles. Extending over 1600 ha and benefiting from the temperate Mediterranean climate, the vineyard produces around 100,000 hectoliters a year.
