PRESENTATION AND PRODUCTION OF WINE
The rosé LES VOILES are part of the wines of the Bandol AOP, one of the oldest appellations of Provence. The vineyard of the Bandol appellation extends over 8 communes around the town of Bandol and is located in a vast amphitheater of mountains from Sainte-Baume to Mont-Caume, surrounded by hills, on soils generally silico-limestone . The Mourvèdre, Grenache and Cinsault grape varieties benefit from whitish and very arid soils rich in siliceous elements. Yields are low, 40 hl / ha maximum. The rosé wines LES VOILES are characterized by their freshness, rich of the scents of their native restanques. Varietal-king of the Bandol appellation, the Mourvèdre enters 50% in the blends of the rosé wines of this appellation. Very demanding in heat, this grape gives these rosé wines their very specific character. The intensity of the Mourvèdre aromas and the antioxidant power of this grape allied with the fruity Grenache and the freshness of the Cinsault make the rosé LES VOILES wines both fine and bold that keep perfectly. The LES VOILES rosé wines benefit from careful aging throughout the winter and can only be placed on the market from the 1st of March following the harvest.
