the Russian Princes (brothers and uncles of the Emperor of all the Russias) loved to spend the summer in the famous resorts of the hexagon. Their origin, art of living, culture and generosity were always of them a pole of interest and attraction for locals and holidaymakers. Until our days, Biarritz, Cannes, Deauville and Dinard, told many stories on the extraordinary tours offered by the Russian Princes. The name of this limited cuvee is supposed to highlight the character noble, distinguished and generous of this great red wine from Provence.
Tasting notes: The nose is characterized by a beautiful aromatic complexity, with notes of withered roses, black fruits (ripe cherry) and Spice: grey pepper, cocoa... The mouth is very stylish, with a remarkable density, a very nice extension and great finesse. The power of wine stretches in length on fine and silky tannins. In the final, an impression of Minty freshness gives a lot of class to this first rare vintage. A very nice success on this vintage that augurs the best for the years to come.
Vinification: Born into a patchy selection of our finest syrahs and our oldest mourvedre. Manual harvesting and sorting on table in the cellar. Breeding of 12 months in barrels, Assembly and rest of 3 additional months in tank before bottling.
